While most of the preserved meats are usually importing from China & Hong Kong, Tuck Kee do produce local made preserved meat products with only the premium grade quality. Including cantonese sausage, waxed meat, foie gras sausage and so on.
Preserved Meat Sausages are 100% made in Penang, Malaysia with stringent selection of high quality ingredients. Seasoned with Chinese rose wine and soy sauce, the sausages are made with fresh meat with an optimal lean-to-fat ratio.
For processed meat, for health conscious people would say its unhealthy, so its best to get the premium-grade one when all the ingredients used are fresh & good quality to guarantee the quality!
As a study shown the increasing number of meat factories use frozen meat as raw material, so be conscious of what you getting.
Tuck Kee is proud to guarantee the freshness as well as the supreme quality assurance!
It’s rather important to note that not all cured meats contain nitrites and in fact, slow-cured and nitrite-free meats are becoming more and more popular as health consciousness arise. If the processed meat is made with many harmful chemicals and the meat is not fresh, of course its unhealthy!
There is no form of any sodium nitrite added into the process of making our Tuck Kee Preserved Meat, as well as artificial coloring too, NONE of it.
We use only the traditional way, oldest I would say, which is meat smoking method. Our smoking method not just smoke this like, but added our own ‘secret recipe’ to bring up the unique smokiness flavour!
The process of making our preserved meats is not possible to be done in one day but few days, have to keep checking the process every few hours, the entire process is monitored to guarantee top quality, from selection of raw material and ingredients to entire production process!
